Ethan is Okay!

My 26 year old son, Ethan, moved to Tel Aviv 6 months ago to experience what it is like to live abroad. He fell in love with Tel Aviv and Israeli culture during his Birthright trip one year ago. Indeed, Ethan is absolutely thriving in Tel Aviv as he works for a VC specializing in Israeli defense tech companies, and socializes with Israelis and expats alike. Twice weekly Hebrew lessons are making him semi-fluent but it’s experiences such as: Shabbat dinner with his Israeli cousins, running a half-marathon in Jerusalem with his Israeli workout buddy, or simply taking in a beautiful sunset from the beach in Tel Aviv that cement his ever-lasting relationship with Israel and its people. To all my dear friends who have reached out wondering how Ethan is doing (during this war), he is really kind of great. Happy, peaceful and grateful to be in his Jewish homeland.
