Hand-Written Thank You’s

It is so easy to send out a quick text or email to show appreciation, sympathy, or congratulations.  It’s immediate, it’s easy, it’s done.  But I do love to receive a handwritten note and I am applauding my 11 year old niece, Lily and her mom, Sherry, for being “old school”.  The choice of stationary/card and the writing style (both in look and content) communicate something very personal and individual about the sender.  Digital communication will never measure up to it.  So a round of applause to those who take the time and make the effort to find the notecard, find the address, find the stamp and find the words to let someone know you care.
